With its Twin Disc electronic controls and the low-idle setting ability on the 510-hp Caterpillar C9s, combined with both bow and stern thrusters and remote control, this Riviera 42 Fly displays great maneuverability and ease of docking.
The Riviera 42's flybridge with it's helm positioned to the starboard-side and a companion seat on centerline means that the helmsman doesn't have to move to let guests past to sit at the straight settee to port side and/or the large L-shaped settee forward of the helm station whilst enjoying the unobstructed views both fwd and aft.
The massive cockpit with an abundance of hatches and storage areas allows plenty of room for a few deck charis and entertaining or for those serious fisherman looking for that next big catch. This cabin has a head with shower that's also accessible from the companionway and is also used as the day head. The master cabin in the bow, with its own private head and shower, sports a double island berth for the owner's comfort, complete with hanging lockers, TV and stereo.
