Alexander Marine Australia are pleased to present the 1991 Riviera 46 Passagemaker 'Palegic' to the market as central agents.
This vessel is presented in superb condition, and importantly, has undergone significant refit works over the life of the vessel. In 2009 she underwent a complete engine room refurbishment including brand new Cummins 550hp main engines, a brand new Onan 11kva generator, and new fuel and water tanks just to name a few of the upgrades - these significant improvements will provide her next owner decades of reliable, hassle-free, and enjoyable boating! These are big-ticket items that many contemplate but few have the time and patience to execute - that is of significant value and importance to an astute buyer when considering this vessel.
The 46 Passagemaker is a perfect family cruising boat. Access to the vessel is via a low maintenance non-skid finished GRP swim platform, She boasts a large teak cockpit, complete with teak capping rails and padded coaming cushions. A top-opening cockpit drinks fridge will keep guests hydrated, while an S/S gunwale mounted Cookout BBQ is on-hand for feeding the troops. The cockpit gets significant sun protection thanks to her cockpit awning which is perfect for our climate. Two steps up from the cockpit, via a glass and aluminum sliding door, you enter the spacious and light-filled saloon area. Opening side windows assist ventilation, otherwise, you can opt to turn on the air conditioning. The saloon seating configuration is a huge U-shaped settee to port, plus an in-line settee to starboard.
Forward of the saloon to port, set down two steps, is the spacious L-shaped galley complete with everything you need to feed the crew.
In terms of accommodation, the master cabin is to starboard and has its own head. The forward cabin in this particular 46 Passagemaker is configured as a double berth arrangement - the forward cabin uses the 2nd head which features a separate shower stall. The lower accommodation and heads feature overhead hatches, and likewise, opening ports in both cabins for natural ventilation and light.
Access up-to-the foredeck is made safer courtesy of her walk-around side decks (which was a feature unique to the Passagemaker models) before you step up onto the foredeck. On the bow, her tender is stowed and deployed via a 500kg Davco crane. Her anchoring equipment includes an S/S Bruce Anchor for a quality night's sleep.
Her flybridge features brand new four-sided clears. The helm station is positioned aft and is well suited to fishing as the skipper has a great view astern. Docking is assisted by way of a bow thruster. She is equipped with late-model Simrad MFD electronics including radar. Two helm seats ensure the captain won't get lonely, and there is plenty of seating in front of the helm station for additional guests wishing to enjoy the great views from up top.
She has recently been antifouled and is blue water ready.
