Officially launched in 2002, the M290 managed to offer most of the amenity of her two larger sisters in a compact package: sleeping accommodation for four adults in two double beds, a bathroom, well-equipped galley and a dinette in the saloon area. The entertainers deck provided a twin seat at the forward helm on the starboard side, a wrap-around lounge immediately behind and a wet bar opposite.


I have owned this boat for approx. Four years. Purchased from a local Gold Coast owner.
This boat is very high quality, and Riviera is a step above some of the similar sized competitors.
Mercruiser 496 MAG High Output, 890 hours.

New underwater LED blue lights. Can switch to yellow or strobe. Blue LED lights on top deck, and LED interior lights.
Toilet new duckbill valves, Vacuflush serviced in May.
New aft engine bilge pump and float switch.
Massive stainless steel anchor and Windlass with helm and deck foot controls.
Garmin GPS and depth sounder. Plenty of active tracks stored for Gold Coast waterways so you can navigate with confidence.
Four new engine and house batteries replaced early 2025. Previous ones lasted close to 8 years so have replaced with the best again.
Solar power, and high end battery charger and inverter. Enerdrive 3 bank ePower charger (the green one, which is apparently the best!), Xantrex 1800w inverter.
Interior wood veneer replaced 2024 by Troy Dibben Boat Builders.
Windows resealed 2024.
Upper deck seat bases retrimmed by Classic Marine Trimming at GCCM.
Regular detail and polishing by Dylan at Luxe Auto and Marine.
Two new smart TVs, one upstairs, one downstairs. Dual zone Clarion stereo system with Bluetooth, remote control, speakers throughout and Amp, subwoofer.
Comes with Island Inflatables tender, swim platform Davits, and Torqeedo electric motor. If you haven't experienced one of these, they are convenient, lightweight and equivalent to a small petrol outboard.
Full storm covers and clears, and window shade cover.
Gas BBQ on swim platform.
Two fridges, one upstairs, one down.
Super-hot water, shower downstairs and top deck. 210L water tank.
Kitchen includes Microwave, hotplate, all plates, cups, plastic glassware, cutlery, toaster, kettle, BBQ tools, gas bottle, vacuum cleaner.
Boat will also come with plenty of dock lines, fenders, cleaning equipment, hoses.


The M290 is just under 32 ft in length, and 10ft 4inch wide. Good volume for a boat of this size, and exceeds the size of most competitive segment boats. We've comfortably had 8 adults out for the day. With kids on board, even more capacity, but good to make them sit downstairs if the boat is full!
One of the best parts about this boat, it's got a single Mercruiser 496 MAG High Output engine. 8.1 litres, it's got plenty of performance to get the boat moving. Only one engine to service though so annual maintenance is so much more affordable than smaller twin engines. With a bow thruster, it's got the same capability as twin engines for manouvreability so easily docked and turned. Hapy to run a buyer through the controls and give some lessons on how to operate.
WOT will hit high close to 30 knots, comfortable cruise in the late teen, early 20 knot range. A good full day out on the Gold Coast Broadwater from Sanctuary Cove will run $150 in fuel.

Plenty of storage. Two double beds, plus one single.
