Scimitar 1010 Flybridge Economical Comfortable Cruising

This is a well known practical, low maintenance, economical family power catamaran brand for coastal or bay cruising.
The shallow 0.8m draft of this well maintained catamaran enables comfortable overnight stays at the many anchorages the islands in Moreton Bay, the Gold Coast Broadwater and beyond offers.
The flybridge provides great visibility for skipper helm control when berthing or anchoring.
A very important factor to note is that the turbos, freshwater and saltwater cooling systems for both engines (@ 1550hrs) have just been completely refurbished. (May 2026). The invoices and reports for these extensive important works cost over $35k and are available for buyer inspection.
Both engines were fully serviced in July 2025. Antifouling of the hulls and anode replacement was done in August 2025
The flybridge clears and awnings were replaced in June 2023 and are in great condition. Additional shade / insect screens on the saloon windows and entry door (2024) enable privacy, comfort and protection from the afternoon sun and insects.
A 3.5m inflatable Aurora Aluminium hull tender (Sept 2022) with a 15hp 4 stroke Mercury (Sept 2022) compliments this package.
This vessel is a great starter boat for a cruising family and is an easy boat to manoeuvre at moorings as the propellers are approximately 4.0 meters apart.
