Fielding Marine is proud to present 'Wild Rose', a well maintained and highly capable 2004 Scimitar 1010 Flybridge. Designed by renowned Australian multihull designer Peter Brady and built in Brisbane by Scimitar, the 1010 Flybridge has long been regarded as one of the most practical and efficient cruising catamarans in this size range.
Combining excellent stability, economical cruising and an incredibly spacious layout, 'Wild Rose' is perfectly suited to extended coastal cruising, weekends away with family and friends, or relaxed days exploring local anchorages. Her wide 5.0m beam delivers outstanding internal volume, while the low 0.8m draft allows access to shallow anchorages often unavailable to larger multihull's.
Stepping aboard, the generous cockpit provides an excellent platform for entertaining, fishing or simply enjoying life on the water. The cockpit is complemented by transom mounted snap davits carrying an inflatable aluminium hull RIB with 9.8hp Tohatsu outboard, making exploring ashore or accessing secluded beaches effortless. Wide side decks and secure walkaround access lead forward to a spacious foredeck, while the flybridge above offers excellent visibility and comfortable seating for cruising in all conditions.
The saloon is bright, open and exceptionally practical, featuring large surrounding windows that provide excellent natural light and panoramic visibility. The internal helm station makes the vessel equally comfortable for extended cruising or overnight passages, while the dinette and lounge area create a welcoming social space. The port side galley is well equipped with refrigeration, a Smev three burner gas cooktop, oven, hot water system and generous storage throughout. A Little Wonder water maker further enhances the vessel's capability for longer stays aboard.
Accommodation is generous for a vessel of this size, with two double berths and two single berths allowing accommodation for up to six onboard. The layout is practical and comfortable, making 'Wild Rose' equally suited to family cruising or entertaining guests.
'Wild Rose' also features a generous on-deck head complete with toilet and shower facilities, ideal for extended time onboard or rinsing off after a day on the water.
Power comes from twin Volvo Penta D3-160 diesel engines producing 160hp each, delivering a comfortable cruise speed of approximately 17 knots and a top speed of around 20 knots. Electronic controls provide confident handling and easy operation both underway and when manoeuvring in confined marinas and anchorages. 'Wild Rose' is also equipped with both port and starboard cockpit docking stations, making close-quarters manoeuvring and docking particularly user friendly. Navigation electronics include a new Furuno GPS/plotter fitted in 2026, Furuno depth sounder, Raymarine and Navman VHFs, along with integrated autopilot functionality at both the upper and lower helm stations.
'Wild Rose' was last slipped, antifouled, detailed and serviced in March 2026 and presents as a very tidy, well-equipped example of the highly regarded Scimitar 1010 Flybridge. She is now available for inspection in Brisbane, Queensland, by prior appointment through Fielding Marine. Please contact our office for further information.
