"Ottina" a Sea Ray Sundancer 270 might be described as an absolute "barn find". Launched in 1997 it's unlikely that you will find another boat of its type that is as original and so well cared for. The single MerCruiser V8 300 hp engine has only done 280 hours since new. Its power is delivered through a Bravo III stern-drive that allows it to comfortably cruise at 22 knots and then move through to over 30 knots WOT. The double opening windscreen and side screens are glass. There is a bimini, clears and camper cover all of which are in good condition. In the cockpit there is seating for your guests with an aft bench seat that folds away as well as a removable table. At the helm there is an array of instruments together with a Raymarine hybrid 7 inch touch MFD.
From there step down into the deceptively spacious cabin which is light and airy thanks to the provision of overhead hatches and hull port-lights. Very impressive is the excellent condition of the headlining, the quality soft furnishings and carpets that are all in neutral tones. By removing the table, the forward seating converts into a vee-berth and there is an additional double under the cockpit. The galley has an electric/spirit single hotplate, microwave, Norcold front loading refrigerator as well as cupboards for dry goods storage. The head has a recently serviced vacuuflush toilet that is coupled to a 106-litre holding tank.
Ground tackle consists of a Muir electric windlass, plough anchor and 40 metres of galvanised chain.
Under the cockpit floor is a extremely clean and tidy engine bay which houses a 22 litre calorifier that provides hot water. Completing the extensive equipment list is a 1500 watt inverter and a Kings smart charge system with plug-in solar panel. On the swim platform there is a retractable boarding ladder, a s/s stern rail with an Aurora inflatable tender and an almost new Tohatsu 3.5 hp outboard.
