Plenty of room to move in the open planned Cockpit. Recessed rod rack under the gunwales, rod holders everywhere, custom fender racks built in and a toe rail for the fisherman when you are dragging that fish of a lifetime up from the depths. Fold the transom recessed lounge out and take a seat by the Cockpit fish station. A sink, live bait tank amd prep area at your finger tips ideal for afternoon drinks and nibbles anchored in your favourite bay. At the end of the day wash the decks down with fresh or salt water the choice is yours with both on offer in the Searay 290 Amberjack. If you are looking to head forward there is easy and safe access for the crew to access the bow via wide bulwarks port and starboard, making the most of the forward sun pad.

Outstanding vision from the helm with a double wide helm seat, room for two in comfort and the option of flipping the bolster up for those that prefer to stand while driving. A well laid out and concise helm station with all you need right at your finger tips with Rayamarine electronics, Bennett trim tabs, S/S spot light controls, digital throttle, electronic ignition and a brace of smart craft gauges. Your co pilot can take up position in the Starboard side back to back seating that doubles as a sun pad or even an additional berth if needed. Searay have put plenty of thought into the 290 Amberjack.

Centrally located and finished in solid timber the companionway steps lead into a spacious gloss timber trimmed Saloon with three accommodation options, Galley and head. A master berth forward with over head hatch, portholes and privacy screen. Plenty of air flow and sunlight reaching the heart of the boat. A transverse aft small double berth tucked under the helm area and if required the dinette converts to a small double for the little ones or your fur baby for those that take the pets out on the boat. The Galley to Port is a paired back installation not having the stove, a great idea as it never really gets used with owners preferring a BBQ on the back deck. Moulded bench top, stainless steel sink and microwave when you are on shore power. If you are moored up in the marina on your holidays hook the Cruiseair AC to shore power and sleep in chilled comfort. For that final touch the Saloon sole is finished in an Amtico style timber finish, looking very nice !

Powered by a pair of Mercruiser 350 Mag Mpi Seacore V8 300 Hp engines she gets up nicely and is happy cruising at around 18/20 knots in most conditions. DTS controls, smart craft gauges, tilt steering and low hours are all ticks in the right column. A long block repower was undertaken a few years back now to the Port engine and an ECU upgrade to the second engine explains the difference in hours on the gauges. There is a good history of invoices on hand which is always great to see with the current owners happy to spend money on maintenance.
