Although winter may be curbing some boating families WA boating has some of its best weather on offer over the coming couple of months, sure it might mean a light jumper and a more thorough eye on the prevailing weather but if you have the time July and into August can be some of the nicest boating we have here in WA and a perfect time to spend quality time aboard this Searay 310 sundancer with your family in one of the magic bays we have to offer at Rotto or Garden island or tied up at Elizabeth Quays for Sunday lunch. You might just have the whole bay to yourself !
Typical of the Searay brand coming off the swim platform with the usual stainless steel railing and storage locker through the Port side transom door the Cockpit allows a mix of uses with two rear lounges around the central table. Ideal for entertaining at rest and easy to " clear the decks " for some fishing or water sports with the kids. A wet bar to the Port side with sink and ice box and TV overhead will make this coming summer and the Boxing Day test an ideal location to relax. A complete set of camper covers opens the boat up at night extending your living areas and protects you from the summer sun.
The Searay 3100 Sundancer model was launched in 1998 and is offering your family a twin cabin, twin queen sized berths with the option to drop the Saloon table for some additional sleeping options. A mid mounted head unit allows access to the head from both the rear cabin and main Saloon, a unique feature in the Searay range. This obvious but rarely seen design allows for a larger feel to the Saloon area. A clever use of space with a large u shaped dinette to the Starboard side opens the boat up around the Galley where you would normally be tight for space the boat feels open and larger than you might expect. All you need is at hand with your stove and microwave operation off the genset or through the 120/240 v stepdown when berthed. Plenty of natural light in the Saloon through overhead hatches and side windows.
Standing her apart from most of the Searay boats in this market segment she is sporting a pair of Shaft driven engines. Not a common installation in a 31 foot boating package. These are Mercruiser petrol driven V drives with hydraulic assisted steering. The 350 Mag Mpi V8 power plant sits neatly in the aft engine bay together with a Weterbeke genset. Showing around 700 hours at the time of listing.
This is a well presented boating package for a boat with a close to 30 years of life under its belt. The current owners have not found the time to use the boat as they were hoping and have made the decision to move it on.
