Sea Ray 315 Sundancer Twin 4.3L Mercruiser V6 Bravo 3 Stern Drive

Excellent condition Sea Ray Sundancer 315 with twin Mercruiser 4.3L V6 MPI 220 hp Bravo 3 stern drives (twin props each leg) raw water cooled with only 375 hours. The bravo 3 legs are claimed to provide 30% more thrust than conventional single props so the boat is very economical to run, has a good cruise speed (23 knots @ 3300 rpm @ 30l/hour per engine) and relatively high top speed (35 knots).

Every aspect of the boat is in excellent condition. Extremely solid hull, handles choppy conditions very well, smoth riding hull, very well laid out and very comfortable with up to 8 guests. All standard gauges, trim tabs and upgraded lowrance colour sounder and map navigation electronics.

Sleeping quarters -Twin berth at front, twin berth at rear. Table below with twin bench seats, in cockpit, long passenger seat next to driver, drivers seat and two rear seats. All seat vinyl in good condition, no rips or tears. New carpet in cockpit, all original carpet downstairs in excellent condition. Excellent original Clarion sound system with separate amplifier. Downstairs shower and toilet. Rear outside shower, new mains and engine heated hot water system for showers.

Interior is unmarked and as new, amazing for a 20 year old boat.

Exterior recently polished and ceramic coated both hull and top sides. Gel coat in excellent condition.

Rear factory camper covers recently replaced ($8k) with clear rear window and clear side zip down windows with fly screens.

Diesel heater recently installed. Epirb, all safety gear etc, only ever used on the river, no offhshore. Very tidy engine bay.

Extremely well maintained by the most one of the most respected Mercruiser mechanics in Tassie with 40 years experience. The bilge is always completely dry. Risers manifords, raw water pumps, water pumps, belts, alternator, fuel pumps, fuel coolers, all water cooling hoses all recently replaced over the last 4 years. All 5 batteries recently replaced with deep cycle 120 aH heavy duty marine batteries (1 for port side motor, 2 for starboard side and 2 house bateries). Anchor winch motor recently replaced. Engine and leg oils always changed annually. Full service history going back to when the boat was originally delivered in Tasmania in 2006 (can be supplied on request).

This is a very, very well maintained boat. Boat regularly slipped every 6 months, new antifoul paint March 2024. Propspeed on props and trim tabs still in good condition, done in 2024. All anodes replaced March 2025. Anodes checked 6 monthly and religously replaced every 12 months.
