Restoration project. All reasonable offers considered.
24m Pearling Vessel built by Star Boats in WA in 1983.
Needs to be sold and moved by September. The Andirina Pearle has been on the hard stand at the Geraldton Fishermans Co-Op (GFC) Yard for some years after coming out of the water for a bow thruster install and new swim platform. Machinery and main systems were all in good working order at the time of lift. Current condition is as you see in the pictures. Needs work but has good life left in her for the right owner.
The GFC yard is closing and the Andirina needs to be moved (floated) to the yard on the other side of the harbour for restoration.
Key details:
- sold as-is, where is.
- Volvo Penta D11 main engine
- Cummins 4BT3.9 genset
- sleeps 7 crew
- no debt owing to the yard
- GFC have said they will launch it for FREE
- Can be moved across to the other yard in GFBH for refit project (this has been confirmed by GFC)
- thruster install is not finished. The tunnel is welded & power-pack has been mounted (see pictures), but the thruster isn't installed.
- previously a commercial vessel in 3B survey
Originally built as a pearl diving boat, it's been a good sea boat with twin ballasted bilge keels. Plenty of accommodation and living space. Deck crane, ali tender, anchor chain etc included. The steel ballast from the bilge keels has been removed to reduce weight for the travelift and is currently in storage, to be included with the sale.
