Description: Thomascraft 56 Flybridge *** SLEEPS 10 PAX ***
Specialised Marine Sales is pleased to be able to offer this unique boat to the WA market an ideal multi family boat capable of sleeping 10 pax with ample room for everyone to enjoy the space onboard Hardyards. Rottnest, Quindalup or the islands of the Abrolhos. A beautiful cruising boat with a simple approach to boating. A high volume 3 cabin layout with a Galley up design she is sure to impress the family. This would make a great live aboard boats for those looking for this function

Boarding via an extended fixed GRP non skid marlin board stepping directly into the Transom entertaining area with twin element stove and stainless steel sink neatly residing under a heavy duty GRP lid an ideal place to shuffle a steak around the pan while relaxing with a cold drink watching the family enjoy the water at your feet. Access via both sides off the swim platform on a large cork laid deck. Wide and deep this area will allow a table with at least 6 chairs or any number of friends and family as your cruise the waters of teh Swan River. Ample storage in the huge lazarette leading through to the mid mounted engines and plenty of lockers for all the required ropes and wash downs. The simple layout hides the thought that has gone into making this a very functional boat !

A small single step up to the twin tinted sliding Saloon door opens the boat up bringing the Saloon and Cockpit together as one large entertaining area. An uncluttered approach to the huge Saloon allows easy movement throughout the boat. A long lounge to Port doubles a double bed when additional pax extend their stay, an L shaped lounge with an oversized dinette to starboard will see seating for 6 when required with a double berth forward of the dinette for two more over stayers. Light timbers and modern colours keep the boat looking fresh. The neutral pallet will allow you to dress the boat adding your stamp to its history. The Galley located on the same level as the Saloon keeps the modern design thoughts going with a corian style benchtop, Vitrfrigo refrigeration, Fisher & Paykal dishwasher, Smeg combination microwave and Meile triple element stove. Plenty of storage for all the kitchen items you will need with just about every conceivable items to remain with the boat at sale. It is WIWO approach from the current owners.

When the whole family and all the friends decide to join you for the weekend you will wrapped to know they will all have a decent bed for the night with accommodation for 10 pax in their own slice of comfort. A master berth to the Starboard side midships with a walk around king and private ensuite for the skipper and partner, a state room forward in the bow with an island style queen berth and easy access to the day head and a pair of king singles to the Port side mid ship opposite the master berth. Step up to the Saloon and make use of teh double berth forward of the dinette and the Port side lounge as a small double. It is not common to see this capacity available in boats on this class. Port Geograph here we come.

If I had the preference I would always opt for a set of stairs to the fly bridge its just an easier and safer manner in which to access the helm. Safer in heavy sea and wider it just makes sense. Access to the fly bridge on the Thomascraft 56 is via wide set of stairs that can be navigated without use of the railings if required. So important when heading up with a round of sandwiches for the skipper on a long haul. An open plan rear helm design with a double flip back helm seat so you can call the shots down to the cockpit when coming back on a fish. A n uncluttered helm with all you need right at hand with Raymarine electronics, Raymarine auto pilot, Lewmar bow thruster and single binnacle controls. Fantastic vision from the helm over the forward U shaped lounge through a huge set of clears. Uninterrupted in all directions berthing in tighter conditions should not be an issue and proved so on the day we had her out with close to 20 knots on the port side and pen poles and boats on either side. What a job by the skipper he didnt even use the bow thruster such is the manoeuvrability of this boat.

Head back down the fly bridge stairs, lift the lazarette hatch and step into the bilge. An enormous area holding the genset and all manner of items needed aboard. An outstanding storage facility lacking on so many boats in the market. Head aft through a water tight hatch to the engine bay, easy enough for my 6 foot plus frame to negotiate. A spacious engine bay, room to move and everything well thought out. AC units and water maker are neatly installed to forward bulkheads with Iveco 700 Hp Turbo diesel shaft driven engines spinning oversized shafts through dripless seals will see the boat cruising at 18-20 knots for around a 250lt round trip SOPYC to Narrow Neck and back. Thats pretty enjoyable boating right there. A sprint speed at about 28 knots if you feel the urge. Everything is up to date with the service to be undertaken in Sept of 2023. Im sure you could just step aboard and head South for a few weeks.

Having spent 8 years with the current owners with regular use Hardyards doesnt sit idle for long.
