Adams 10.9 Motor Sailer

Presenting a Joe Adams motor sailer 36 feet overall built by craftsman shipwright Geoff Montague in 2006 as his own vessel.
This vessel is well suited for a small family or couple as weekender or live aboard.
The layout consists of a double v berth forward and 2 single berths in the aft cabin, an enclosed head and shower on the portside and full sized galley on the starboard side in the sallon. It has the added advantage of an additional 2 full size settes that can convert to bunks in the salon.
The well equiped galley includes a 2 burner gas stove inc oven and grill, good refridgeration and freezer and ample bench space for meal preparation.
The vessel has ample tankage Fuel and water in heavy guage aluminiun tanks. The expansive engine room located under the wheelhouse has excellent accessability and contains a well maintained tubocharged 70 hp yanmar with an additional 12 volt generator running off a XXX hp Yanmar. Automatic bilge pumps are fitted (2). Solar panels (2 x 200w) are mounted on the davits, batteries consist of 3 x 120 amp hr house and 1x 120 amp hr for each engine and are all located in the engine room with easy access. The wheelhouse with its 360 degree views has access doors to the wide decks on port and stbd sides, air circulation is assisted by large openning widows and deckhead hatch. The helm has a 28 inch stainless wheel for good control and also consits of a depth sounder and plotter (raymarine) complemented by a coursemaster auot pilot, with the addition of a chain counter connected to a muire anchor winch at the bow. The anchor winch is operated both at the bow and in the wheelhouse (up and down). There are ample stainless steel hand holds located around the deck, the safety rails are stainless with S/S Staunchons. The davits (S/S) have a 3 meter tinny with a 4 hp marina 2 stroke outboard. Dinghy anchor with chain and Oars are also included with the dinghy.
