UPDATE: boat has been slipped and antifouled in on 17th June 2024 as well as the anode replaced and prop speed on the shaft. Dyneema backstay with new block and tackle also replaced.

1984 Build. Fiberglass Construction. Last refurbished in approx 2016 with quite a few upgrades made.
LOA 11.90m. Beam 2.94m. Draft 2.12m.
New engine block fitted in 2021 Caterpillar Diesel Engine 23 HP. (older parts refitted ie alternator etc)

Other details I know about the boat / why I'm selling:
- Constructed by McIntyre Marine in 1984 and has historically been used for short-handed racing.
- I purchased the boat to potentially use a short-term liveaboard and use for social racing / cruising and potentially a future Osaka race however my time is now occupied campaigning a Class Globe 580 to compete in the Mini Globe Race. Need to sell asap in order to pay for shipping other boat overseas.
- Current SA Registration
- Engine runs well and recently serviced.
- Boat is in a general good, solid condition that has recently been inspected internally by a shipwright.
- Affordable berthing in its current location available at $275 per month

Items requiring attention / consideration in purchase:
- Fuel shut off pin not retracting so the engine needs to be stopped manually. I purchased a new one but still wasn't retracting so am currently looking into this. Doesn't affect engine use.
- some electrical wiring require updating/replacing.

Adams 11.9's are known for their great offshore capability and I don't think you will find one at this price anywhere.

That said, offers will be considered for a quick 'as is, where is' hassle free sale. Great value for money, particularly for the size of the yacht.
