Adams 12
The Adams 12 has long been considered the perfect blend of tough cruiser racer. Plenty of room down below, fast enough to grab a few club trophies and tough enough for bluewater cruising. They represent unbeleivable value for money if you can find a really good one and Pronto would have to be one of the best ive seen in a long while. Consider this - The headsail is less than 12 months old, the new mainsail was only just fitted last week, the engine was new in 2004 and is in impeccable condition, the batteries were new this year, the standing rigging was replaced in 2020, the windlass is new (still in the box). Over $55,000 has been spent on her since 2020 !

With sugar scoop, added solar and davit, Pronto is set up for the dual role of cruiser / racer. Cruised each year around the bay and multiple trips to Apollo Bay & Tasmania. Club raced each week. Pronto was First and Fastest in the 2025 Festival of Sails passage race, non - spinnaker, and won the series. Upgraded, slipped annually and well kept, Pronto has well over $55,000 spent on it since 2020 with invoices available.
