Description: Adams 35 EXCELLENT VALUE, GREAT LIVEABOARD, PRICED TO SELL!
MUST SELL! PRICE REDUCED TO SELL AS IS WHERE IS!
Joe Adams is renowned for designing capable and strong Bluewater Cruisers, and this 35ft Steel Cutter Rigged yacht is certainly a great example of this. Having been sailed from Italy, across the Atlantic to Canada and Alaska, then through the South Pacific to Australia, the vessel has certainly proven its self! In recent times it has been used as a comfortable family liveaboard, and with its stunning spacious fitout it is ideally suited to this purpose. This vessel presents an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for a vessel of this size for a minimal investment. This vessel is unfortunately offered for sale as part of a deceased estate and must be sold. The known issues are:
-The engine has been checked and does run, however the engine control panel has an electrical issue and is currently inoperable.
-The vessel has not had any maintenance for approximately 18 months and has some visible rust. It has not been out of the water during this time and has significant growth on the hull.
Whilst there is work to be done, it has a stunning interior, and with its excellent pedigree is well worth restoring to its former glory!
Stepping inside, the interior of this vessel is very impressive! The stunning timber work and white finishes give a light and welcoming ambience. The layout is quite unique and works well to maximise the available space. There is a generous central dinette with seating for 6 in comfort on the neatly upholstered settees. The L- shaped galley is to port and features a double bowl sink, pressurised water, 2 burner stove with oven, large fridge/freezer, and excellent storage. The accommodation is excellent with a large double berth to starboard, second double berth forward, and two settee berths when additional accommodation is required. The package is complete with private bathroom with toilet and vanity.
On deck, the cockpit is well protected with the hard cabin top extending to provide shelter. There are self tailing winches, and all lines are lead back to the cockpit for easy handling. The cutter rig provides excellent sailing options with both headsails on furlers and the mainsail in a boombag. The solid stainless steel guard rails and wide side decks allow for easy access forward, and there is an electric anchor winch on the bow.
This vessel is powered by a 29HP BMW D35/2 Diesel Engine. This provides easy cruising at 5 to 6 knots.
