Description: Adams 40 HUGE PRICE REDUCTION MUST SELL EXCELLENT CONDITION
CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS TO SELL, EXCELLENT VALUE AT THE REDUCED PRICE!
Adams designs have always boasted an excellent reputation for being truely seaworthy vessels and fast passage makers. This vessel is a great example of the iconic Adams 40 and presents in excellent condition through out. The hull was professionally built in 1996 and is exceptionally fair (it could easily be mistaken for fibre glass!). Being cold-galvinised, epoxy treated and internal epoxy bitumous prior to fit out has created an exceptionally sound hull for a bluewater capable cruiser, and the hull is fully insulated to the water line.

Inside, the Tassie Blackwood fit out is of a high standard, and the saloon has a light and airy feel. The centre cockpit design creates a true Master Cabin aft which features a large double with ample storage. The forepeak also has a double, and three singles in the saloon complete the accommodation. The U shaped galley is well equipped for extended cruising with a large Eutectic Fridge, two burner gas stove with oven and grill, and excellent bench space. An enclosed bathroom is forward complete with hot/cold shower and marine toilet.

On deck, the quality of this vessel is apparent. The central cockpit has excellent protection from the elements with a large spray dodger, and is well set up for short handed sailing with Raymarine autopilot and instruments, furling headsail, and full boombag with lazy jacks. The cutter rig design is perfect for offshore sailing, and this vessel features a self tacking staysail for ease of use. The vessel is also powered by a Yanmar 75hp Turbo diesel Engine which presents as new with only 900 hours on the clock. This is capable of comfortable cruising at 6 to 8 knots in any weather conditions with ease.

This vessel is well maintained and very capable, well proven cruising boat. It would suit anyone looking for a safe and reliable yacht for anything from coastal cruising to bluewater passages. With its excellent layout, it would also be very comfortable for a liveaboard or extended cruising. For more information, please call Jo Breen 0432 031 100 or John Radonic on 0459 322 862.
