Description: Adorable 19ft Centreboard Yacht with Pop Top
This cute little 'one - off' yacht has so much character you will absolutely love her. She is so simple to run and has an awesome pop-top roof which allows for full standing room below. Beaching her is also really easy thanks to a lifting keel.
Since her launch in 1982 her owner and his family have enjoyed exploring Pittwater with their children and grand children, who were all introduced to the water aboard this fabulous little yacht.
The 8hp outboard allows you to motor anywhere easily, but if you prefer to sail she has a mainsail and jib (made by North sails) in great condition.
She was born from a marriage between a David Beashel hull and a Compass Careel 22 deck. They were professionally moulded and fitted to create the 'Queen Mari' which measures 19ft with bowsprit. Her interior was competed by a Shipwright in Brooklyn with full teak fitting and a beautiful folding table. The upholstery is in excellent condition and would easily allow 2 adults and 2 small children to sleep on board on a summer's night; with even a built-in toilet cleverly concealed in the bow. There are custom made cockpit cushions and a blue & white striped sun-awning for those hot sunny days.
With no complicated systems on board this little gem is suitable for all ages and experience levels. There's no need to fight for a mooring or worry about anchoring in deep water as you can simply wind up the keel and sail Queen Mari up to a shallow beach and take your picnic to shore.
So don't just dream of going sailing 'one day' - You won't find a better value 'ready to go' little sailing yacht to getaway on Pittwater.
Queen Mari is the perfect and affordable 'starter' family yacht and you will fall in love with her from the minute you step foot on board. For more information contact EziYacht on 0410 35 77 55.
