Description: Archambault A35
This is a fantastic boat to sail. Like all Archambault A35s, it is a racer/cruiser which is exciting, fun and versatile. Whether on a twilight sail with family and friends in the huge cockpit; or fast cruising with 6+ berths, stove, head, fridge, hot/cold shower and sink; or a competitive club racer or full on offshore racing, with a code zero and both symmetrical and asymmetrical spinnakers. You can do all or some of it with this boat. Historically it began its sailing life in Belgium, then Geelong and for the past 8 years (current owner) out of East Fremantle Yacht Club WA. For a number of years it was sailed offshore up to Cat 2 level, while more recently it has been used as a Club river racer.

A35's are a well known design with many boats in Australia and around the world. They have lots of history and success and thus there is plenty of information online. The boat has been well maintained over the years with most of the hardware as was originally delivered. The changes/additions since the boat has been in Perth include: a Selden Mast with 4wheel cars for easy hoisting/dousing of main; Sail Bag and Lazy jacks with easy tie down for racing; mast lowering ability and equipment; tethers, tether points and jackstays; orange storm jib and trysail; 8 person life raft; HF Radio with insulated backstay aerial; NMEA 2000 network; Garmin VHF 110; H5000 Hercules B&G system and instrumentation including autopilot, cabin Vulcan Display, 2x cockpit displays and 3x mast 20/20 displays; AIS transceiver; Garmin GPSMap 751 with charts; Garmin FUSION AM/FM/Bluetooth Radio MS-RA70N networked NMEA2000; new Danish JEFA rudder and new JP3 bearings Feb2023.

If you've never sailed on one of these boats, you won't be disappointed.
