Bavaria 43 Cruiser

Ready to sail away, our 2009 43' Bavaria Cruiser SV "Amazing Grace" is a solid all-round cruising yacht, proven after two sailing adventures along the NSW & QLD coast of Australia. Currently located in Coffs Harbour NSW.

We travelled to Australia and bought "Amazing Grace" in August 2025 to sail the east coast of Australia. It has been an amazing adventure; however, it is now sadly time for us to go back home. This is why we are selling our beloved home.

NSW registered vessel. It was registered in Australian international Shipping Register until 08/2025, and can easily be re-entered.

3 double cabin layout all installed with Sirocco II fans, 2 electric flush heads both with holding tanks, and plenty of light and ventilation on call with an abundance of deck hatches and opening windows throughout the vessel.

Open and airy modern saloon with plenty of shelving and storage. Galley to port with CO monitor, stainless steel sink, 110 litre upright fridge and gimballed 2 burner gas stove & oven, and a 6-person dinette to starboard complete with smart tv, stereo with Bose speakers and sub-woofer. LED lightning throughout, including the masthead and stern light.

Well equipped rig with new standing rigging replaced 08/23, and most running rigging replaced in 02/24.

In-mast furling mainsail (fair condition) with vertical battens and furling headsail with all lines running back to cockpit for easy short-handed sailing via 6 x Lewmar winches and Rutgerson clutches. Power wincher turns every winch into an electric winch when needed. 2 Head sails. "UK Sails" number 3 in use, spare sail as new.

Grand tackle includes Ultra Supreme anchor with 100 m of 10mm galvanised chain on 12v windlass with remote. It has worked excellent in all conditions. Snubber bridle and a spare Danforth anchor with chain and rode.
In the cockpit, we enjoy all weather under an oversize canvas Bimini on stainless frame with side "clears" which are easily opened or closed to suit 4 seasons in one day or completely removeable via large zippers.

Outboar motor bracket, good size Wander OZ stainless steel BBQ and multiple stainless steel rod holders all mounted to pushpit - can all be easily removed. Transom platform with fold down telescopic ladder allows easy water access and/or transfers to/from your tender or shore. A freshwater handheld shower is also within easy reach.

The tender is a spacious, stable and fast NZ made 2023 True-Kit 3.3m Discovery with self-draining transom and powered by a 2010 Mercury 2 stroke 15hp outboard. It comes with a small anchor with chain and rope.
The boat also comes with a SUP board and a childerens kayak.

Dual helm with leather-grip stainless steel wheels, 2 x Plastimo 135 compasses, Raymarine autopilot, Raymarine wind and depth instruments, new Raymarine wind transducer 02/24, RaymarineE7 Hybrid Touch MFD, Raymarine VHF with DSC connected to GPS and Raymarine AIS.
Starlink Satellite Dish.

Volvo Penta D2-40 engine with new stainless steel exhaust elbow and fully reconditioned head and new fuel injectors in 2024. New exhaust manifold in 2025. Last serviced 02/26.210l fuel tank. Very economical at an average of 2.4l per hour.

Power bank upgraded to lithium batteries (09/24). Enerdrive lithium 300AH house battery, Enerdrive DC-DC charger, Enerdrive AC charger, Enerdrive 2000w inverter with auto AC change over when on mains power. Victron MPPT solar controller fed by 2 x 220w bi-facial panels mounted to Bimini, Victron shunt with display and a 2kwa portable generator.

Lifted at Boatworks in April 2024, works completed include clean and antifoul, PropSpeed applied, new anodes, sail-drive service and hull polished. Professional in-water clean 10/24. Regularly scrubbed throughout 2025.

Receipts of standing rigging and last out of water survey 2023 can be provided by request.

Safety equipment includes Transocean life raft (due for test) new EPIRB 09/23,8 inflatable life jackets, safety harnesses and lanyards, jackstays, flares, vsheet etc, 4 fire extinguishers, fire blanket, as new Burke bosun chair.

Misc items:
360l freshwater tanks.
2 x stainless steel racks for board/kayak.
Lots of spares plus much more.

We are flying out of Australia bringing with us only what we can fit in our suitcases and the boat is handed over with everything you might need. We may be able to assist with delivery on Australian east coast.

Located in Coffs Harbour Marina. There are plenty of space to keep her there should you choose.
