'Songbird' is a 2014 Bavaria 40 listed exclusively with for sale with YOTI on Pittwater, Sydney.

Designed by renowned naval architect Bruce Farr, the Bavaria 40 is celebrated for its excellent balance of performance, comfort, and easy short-handed sailing. With her generous beam carried well aft and a practical deck layout, she delivers impressive interior volume without compromising sailing ability.

The cockpit is spacious and functional, featuring twin helm stations, wide side decks, and the signature fold-down swim platform, creating an inviting connection to the water. Visibility from both helms is excellent, with sailing controls led aft for ease of handling. In-mast furling, autopilot, and a bow thruster make manoeuvring and sail handling straightforward whether cruising as a couple or with family and friends.

Below decks, Songbird offers the highly sought after three-cabin, two-head layout. The interior is finished in rich mahogany joinery with a light cream upholstery, creating a warm and contemporary atmosphere. The saloon is bright and airy thanks to numerous overhead hatches and coachroof windows. To port sits the in line galley, while to starboard there is a comfortable dining area and a dedicated navigation station.

Forward, the owner's cabin provides generous storage, good dressing space, and a private ensuite. Two spacious aft cabins provide comfortable accommodation for guests, complemented by the main bathroom which includes a separate shower area with a solid screen.
