Beneteau 50 Farr

Ocean Star is a 1998 model Beneteau constructed in1997 in France and shipped to Texas in the USA. It has an interior that was customized by Beneteau for her first owner. Basically it is 2 stateroom 2 head layout with a starboard side linear galley and center "island" for galley storage and counter space. What would have been the port quarter berth was highly customized into a Nav station/office with a large desk, swiveling chair and an equipment space/storage area behind it and more storage against the starboard hull. The associated head area was customized into a roomy shower only. The master stateroom has a queen size pullman bed on the port side with drawers on the starboard side and under the bed. There are also storage cabinets above the bed. Ensuite there is one Vacuflush fresh water head with sink and a separate shower only/sink to starboard. The salon has a table with surrounding seating that can be dropped down to make a queen size bed. The starboard quarter berth has a queen size bed and ensuite Vacuflush fresh water head/shower combo, a hanging locker and 2 cabinets with shelves plus access to the equipment space/storage area behind the nav station/office
What would normally be a V-berth forward of the master stateroom is a massive storage area with 2 shelves, a watermaker, and the bow thruster.

The galley features a top opening freezer and a separate top and side opening refrigerator with shelving. There are separate 12v air-cooled refrigeration units for both. There is a 3 burner Force 10 LPG oven. There is a double sink with pressurized hot & cold fresh water plus sea water from a foot pump. The center "island" provides a secure working area for the galley in a seaway and has a microwave oven plus cabinets and drawers.

The navigation station/office has a 32 breaker 12v panel and a 20 breaker 110v panel with digital LED meters for Voltage and Current on both panels Communication equipment is a remote VHF mike, an ICOM 802 SSB and an IRIDIUM GO! Also control panels for the Panda generator and the Specta watermaker and 4 lockers/cabinets for storage. And an LED bar graph displaying the house lithium battery bank charge.
