Beneteau First 47.7

The Beneteau 47.7 is certainly one of Beneteau's most highly regarded yachts ever produced and Carla M is one of the best kept and preserved of them that we know of.

The Farr designed hull with deep performance keel and rudder below the waterline combined with the triple spreader race rig delivers pleasure, speed and power under way whether racing or just enjoying a sail. On deck you'll find high quality deck gear and Lewmar winches, recently replaced teak in the cockpit and various racing upgrades. All running rigging and gear is updated to ensure safe and efficient racing every week.

Moving downstairs you'll notice attention to detail and high quality joinery uncommon on newer production yachts. It's a wonderful feel and apart from a few minor marks of wear and tear expected of a yacht of this vintage, all timber, bedding, upholstery and fittings are all in great condition. This luxurious 3 cabin, 2 head interior is bathed in light and ventilation thanks to numerous opening hatches and is enormous even when compared to the most voluminous cruising yachts of this size.

Living at the CYCA in Sydney for the majority of her life, Carla M has been constantly upgraded by caring owners with notable points such as:

Recently replaced Volvo shaft drive diesel.
Recently replaced stainless steel rod standing rigging.
B&G instrumentation with autopilot and chart plotter at the helm station.
Garmin jumbo mast repeaters.
Carbon working sail inventory by Hood.
Full downwind sail inventory
Up to date Category 7 safety gear.

This lovely yacht is ready to race competitively and would be a delight to cruise on too.

We look forward to showing you on board.
