Bruce Farr designed performance cruiser. She has a remarkable race record over many years at HIRW. The boat has always had regular use and care. Engine has been renewed, and new standing rigging in 2019 and included in sale is a set of regatta and cruising sails. She is licenced for skippered charter vessel on Sydney Harbour. Currently in regular use. 3 cabin layout in light ash colour timber finish. There is a deck-accessed sail locker forward with good storage for sails and ancillary gear. Some timber discolouration, but all appears sound and seaworthy 'Eagle Rock' has been professionally maintained since new. A feature of the boat is the laid teak decks, although they do show some signs of age, her look is enhanced with this added feature.

Accommodation
The accommodation area comprises of a large open-plan saloon with galley and lounge/dinette, 2 x guest cabins with a shared head/shower. Forward finds a large and private owners' cabin with a private ensuite.
Owner cabin: Berth is offset to stb, plenty of storage space and a settee to port. 2 x opening hatches with blinds, for access to natural light.
Aft cabins: Both cabins are symmetrical and fitted identically. They are double berths with 2 x access hatches to the engine compartment. Plenty of storage and lighting.
Bathrooms: All bathrooms have a Marine toilet with lid. Shower trays and wash basin units built into hull, inner moulding. Wash basin with mixer tap and hot and cold pressured water. Bathrooms have 2 x lockers with wood doors.
Main Saloon: Accommodates the galley and main living space of the yacht, as well as navigation table and instruments. This is a great space with plenty of natural light via coach roof hatches and port lights. Seating accommodates up to 8 people.

The First 47.7 has 12 V 16-switch and 4-switch 110/220V electrical control panel. There is a circuit protection via a differential circuit breaker. All 240v electric and gas systems upgraded to Australian Standard. RMS charter survey requirements. Gas smoke detector fitted, bilge alarm fitted. Emergency tiller and emergency steering with MOB recovery ladder, Danbuoy and dual life slings.

B&G Hydra 2000 system, 2 x cockpit displays, 3 x 20/20 on mast. Colour Raymarine C120 Chart plotter (charts included) at the navigation station. HF Radio, ICOM - M802 VHF Radio fitted.

Rig was replaced by Sydney Rigging Specialists (new 2019) and full mast service (with strengthened spreader footing and new boot 2019).
Main outhaul in the boom 32-1, giving fingertip adjustment. 16-1 upgraded jib car adjusters. Fredrickson mainsail track car system fitted for both racing and cruising mainsails. Rigid boom vang, fwd mounted custom 2-way hydraulic back stay adjustment.
Running rigging: Complete set of racing high-performance halyards and sheets, and a complete set for cruising.
Deck Gear
Deck Hardware: The winches are all Lewmar with 2 x 3 speed primaries and 4 x 2 speed secondary/manoeuvring winches. There are 6 x cockpit lockers: 3 aft lockers - one under the helmsman's seat for life raft stowage, 2 x central cockpit lockers with engine stowage support, 1 x gas locker to port.
Winches: (6) Lewmar self-tailer.
