42' Steel Cruising Yacht, cutter rig, requires restoration and completion of fitout. The hull is of single chine type (length 42', beam 12' 10", draft 5' 9", weight approx 13 tonnes). This boat was built using the "centre cockpit" configuration, with a fixed doghouse structure. The below decks layout of the boat consists of a forard cabin (2 berth), head with shower and sump, main cabin with 4 seater dining on port side and settee/berth on starboard side. Aft of the dining area is the galley, and opposite is the nav area with fridge/freezer below. Access to the aft cabin (2 berth) is via a below deck passageway beside the engine room. As part of the original build, the internal framing was fully battened to facilitate lining of the fitout stage, the hull was foam sprayed internally (down to water line) - this insulating foam prevents internal condensation which can be a problem in steel boats. The boat has cruised to Lord Howe Island, spent several years in Tasmania (circumnavigated Tas in 1998), and on return has done many trips to Broken Bay, Port Stevens, etc
