Description: Bollard 39 Center Cockpit Cruising Yacht WELL MAINTAINED AND UPGRADED!
Bollard designs are renowned for their Bluewater sea keeping abilities, safety, and comfort. This 39ft Centre Cockpit design certainly exemplifies qualities! Having been cruised extensively up and down the East Coast of Australia and as far afield as Papa New Guinea, this vessel has proven its self in even the most challenging conditions. Fitted out with a very comfortable interior, and fully enclosed cockpit, this vessel would also make an excellent liveaboard for anyone looking for the ultimate sea change. This vessel has also benefited from many significant upgrades by the current experienced owner including NEW 2018 STANDING AND RUNNING RIGGING, NEW 2018 HEADSAIL FURLER, NEW 2017 & 2019 BATTERIES, and with comforts such as A DIESEL HEATER, 12V FANS, SOLAR PANELS, GOOD ELECTRONICS, this vessel ticks all the boxes!
Stepping inside, the vessel has a traditional feel with timber lining and white finishes. To starboard is the dinette, with seating for 4 on the neatly upholstered settees. Just a few easy steps down is the galley. This is very well appointed with a two burner metho stove, microwave, upright fridge, H/C pressurised water, and excellent storage. The accommodation is idea for a family, with a generous queen sized berth in the master cabin aft, and two single berths forward. The package is complete with private bathroom with H/C shower, electric toilet, and vanity.
Outside, the cockpit is fully protected with the hard dodger and a set of clears. The comfortable cockpit cushions make this a great space whilst underway and to relax at anchor. The electronics are in easy reach with the Chart Plotter and Radar on the steering pedestal. There is easy access forward around the wide side decks, and the raised bulwaks give excellent security in challenging conditions. On the aft deck is a large BBQ, perfect for freshly caught fish, and a large A-frame with 3 solar panels. Sailing is simple with the furling headsail, and mainsail in the boom bag with lazy jacks. This makes the vessel very easy to handle short handed.
This vessel is powered by a well maintained and reliable 120HP Perkins Diesel Engine. There is excellent all round access to this for easy servicing, and it provides economical cruising at 5 to 6 knots.
With its Bollard pedigree, proven Bluewater capability, and comfortable interior, this vessel is sure to impress. Whether you want to live aboard, cruise the stunning waters of Southern Tasmania, or head up to the tropics, this is a vessel that does it all in safety and comfort!
