Luminium sloop professionally built by Cairns Custom Craft 5 ml hull, 4ml coach house and decks, built approx 1992. Very strong build, Australian and QLD Registered. 29.3 feet overall
3 cylinder Isuzu 3KA1 marinised freshwater cooled Diesel 122 litre tank.
Mainsail slab reefing, roller furler headsail, spinnaker (in sock) spinnaker pole. Muir 500 manual anchor winch 45 m 8 ml short link chain 10 kg Bruce anchor, 90 m 20 ml anchor rope. 2 nd anchor and tackle. Accommodation double V berth, stbd seating folds out for a large single. 180 litre water tank. 3x 85 watt solar panels for house battery, 1x 10 watt trickle charge panel for engine battery. ICOM VHF radio with GPS Display, Tack tick wind instrument, Lowrance sounder/ plotter. 1000watt pure sine wave inverter, two remotes to raise and lower ballasted swing keel. Electric Head (toilet) and shower cubicle.
Large Dual zone fridge freezer Primus 130 litre. Well laid out galley with lots of storage. Full solid aluminium cockpit protection, Magma gas BBQ. 2 X Auto bilge pumps, 1x manual bilge pump, aluminium dinghy on davits. Approx 1' 11" (600 ) draft with centre board up and 5' 6" (1700 ) keel down allows access to protected waters like multihulls. Fully protected Prop with Skeg, Transom hung rudder. New Anodes and Tru design skin fittings, aluminium sugar scoop and duck board allows easy boarding. Aluminium launch trailer, yacht sold with or without trailer ( price adjustment without). Minke is a very roomy fully insulated functional vessel and comfortable sea boat. Lots of storage, all lines lead to the cockpit. The only reason to go fwd is for anchor raising and lowering and spinnaker work. She has a Floppa Stoppa stabiliser ( I have never used it ) Easily sailed single handed, comfortable couple boat. Never been antifouled or any bottom paint ( very easy for below water line inspection). When built it was designed that it can legally be transported on a road registered trailer if required.
