Cape Dory 30 Custom

This is a very tidy pocket cruiser, with a superb East Coast US build and fitout from a time when
they really invested in craftsmanship. Designed by Carl Alberg, this 30 ft boat can cruise the worlds oceans (she was
sailed here from the US) or act as a very comfortable coastal cruiser that can be easily managed by one or two people,
with lazy jacks, self tailing genoa winches, self tacking staysail and tiller pilot. Down below is surprisingly large with
huge amounts of storage, tidy and well organised with lots of extras for cruising. 2 burner metho stove. Forward is a double V berth while the saloon has a berth to port and the table drops down easily to create
a starboard berth. 8 bronze opening ports and 2 giant hatches provide excellent ventilation.
You can feel confident cruising with a new Nanni 21 HP, 3 cylinder diesel engine (200 hours), all new bronze seacocks
throughout (2020), new standing rigging in 2020 including new spreaders, turnbuckles and lifelines and refurbished
forward hatch with new plexiglass.
This is a full keel yacht in classic style, the draft is incredibly shallow but the the righting stability is ocean going due to
a lead filled encapulated keel. All in all a superb coastal cruising home, easily managed and at an affordable price.
