SUBSTANTIAL PRICE REDUCTION - "Berth Challenged" as my new boat has arrived!
"Wings" is a fully equipped Catalina 309, beautifully finished, spacious and easily sailed crewed or short handed.
The Catalina 309 is just under 10 m in length with 2 private double cabins, additional saloon berths, fully enclosed head and shower, saloon space, galley and chart table. The 309 has good tank capacities, electric anchor winch, large refrigeration, big cockpit storage, in-mast furling, hot and cold pressure water, good standing head room in the modern and bright cabin and the transom becomes walk-through to a swim platform and folding ladder when the helm seat is removed.
She is "ready to go". Since my purchase in 2020 the rudder bearings and prop shaft dripless seal have been replaced, and a new bimini fitted. Antifouled, hull polished/waxed, prop speed applied, and new prop anode in September 2025, Yanmar diesel serviced a few (motor) hours ago (motors has 436 hours on it as at listing). Standing rigging replaced 2018, new Australian made Hood Main and Genoa 2017.
"Wings" includes a Raymarine instrument package with auto-pilot and 2 colour chart plotters, VHF, AIS Transponder, Solar Panel and Victron Charger, Fusion stereo, TV/DVD, an upgraded Force 10 stove and oven, and folding 3 blade prop. She has the low draft winged keel, and is a delight to sail, with the in mast furling main sail removing the heavy work of mainsail hoisting. The boom is well above head height for safety, and the bimini protects from the sun.

"Wings" is currently located in the Gippsland Lakes system in Victoria. When I purchased her in 2020 we sailed from Sydney Heads to her berth on Raymond Island in 54 hours. She could be relocated by sea or road. I can refer you to a highly qualified delivery skipper if needed, and was also impressed by the specialist road transport firm that brought my new boat across from Adelaide. They have moved Catalina 309s before and have photos of doing so on their website.
