Catalina 42 MK II Two Cabin Pullman Owners Berth

Immaculately well maintained by the engineer owner this is one of the neatest yachts available in this price range.
The Catalina 42 MK2 is the logical result of the builder listening to the needs of experienced owners and has earned an international reputation as the leader in her class.
Design, cruising performance, and comfort, all make the Catalina 42 the first choice of sailors worldwide.
The hull of the 42 MK II is a high volume, and easily driven yacht, with a fine entry, firm midships section, and smooth run aft terminating in a modified reverse transom with an uncommonly spacious and functional boarding platform.
This sloop rigged vessel has the two cabin Pullman layout, and presents in very good condition. Extensive Bimini, Dodger and Awning Canvas.
New Raymarine MFD and depth sounder fitted when hauled out recently in December 2025 with fresh Antifouling paint on the hull and Propspeed done. The spacious design is comfortable with long term liveaboard in mind.
Well placed on the East Coast of Australia and ready to go cruising.

Two Cabin Pullman Owners Berth. Entering the yacht through the cockpit and down the companionway steps, the u--shaped galley is immediately to port, with the large saloon settee and table forward from here.
The upholstery is in blue throughout the yacht and is in very good condition.
The large saloon table drops to make a third double if in the off-chance it is needed. Storage under here out of the way.
Opposite is a lovely settee and starboard facing Nav station. All electrics, Switch Panel, VHF and Stereo gear is within arms length and has been well thought out in the design. Storage lockers abound and there are also shelves for the all important cruising guides.

Storage under here is provided initially by draws and behind there under the berth are large spaces for all manner of equipment. Opposite and to starboard you have a hanging locker and draw storage options as well as a comfortable settee.
Throughout the yacht, natural lighting is paramount with many opening deck hatches and opening and fixed ports. Forward again you enter the owners ensuite with head to port and vanity to starboard along with separate shower behind door forward again.
Vanity features storage lockers for personal items and a good sized mirror.
Back through the yacht and aft and to starboard of companionway is the second large guests double berth. Forward of this cabin is the second head.
