Designed by Christophe Barreau and built by Catana Catamarans, the Catana 42 features GRP construction, daggerboards and twin helm stations. With an overall length of 12.80m and a generous 6.9m beam, she offers a spacious three-cabin layout with accommodation for six.

Powered by twin Volvo Penta D1-30 diesel engines, she is equipped with a comprehensive range of cruising equipment, including Garmin navigation electronics, Victron inverter/charger, extensive solar capacity, Watt & Sea hydro generator and a Spectra watermaker.

Her sailing inventory includes a square-top mainsail, headsail, 140m² spinnaker and 90m² screecher/gennaker. The stainless steel standing rigging was replaced in 2023, and the deck is fitted with electric Harken primary winches.

Additional equipment includes a 3.2m Swift RIB with Yamaha 8hp outboard, electric anchor windlass, six-person life raft and a comprehensive range of onboard safety equipment.
