Made in New Zealand in 1974, Cavell is a tidy, dry and strong vessel. With the first owner, Cavell was Winner of the 1983 Aukland to Suva Race IOR Division https://aucklandfiji. Co. Nz/history/ and was a contestant in the infamous Queen's Birthday Regatta of 1994 where many boats floundered. Cavell simply hove-to and rode out the storm safe and sound. Https://www. Youtube. Under the second owner, Cavell was a live aboard Cruiser, cruising the Pacific for 20 years, Included are used charts from the NZ, the Galapagos Islands, Canada, Pacific Islands, Japan and the East Coast of Australia.
Cavell was then sailed down from Brisbane to Sydney and has undergone an update of electronics, rigging, window replacement, new paint etc.
