Description: Cavalier 975
The Cavalier 975 is a well proven fast cruising yacht, built in Australia to NZ designer Bob Salthouse's popular Cavalier 32 design and known here as the Cavalier 975. This one has been well cared for by her owners and presents in ready to cruise condition. She has plenty of comfortable accommodation and lovely sailing qualities in all weather, perfect for bay or coastal cruising or even the occasional club race.

This 1984 built wheel steered model comes well equipped. She has a fully battened dacron mainsail, 2 furling headsails plus storm sails and a spinnaker. She was fitted with new stainless steel wire rigging in 2021 while her deck gear is laid out for easy short-handed sail handling.

The Bukh 20HP diesel engine is always reliable and has been regularly serviced. Safety gear is approx Cat 5N. Electronics include Log, Speed, Depth and Wind functions, Simrad NX40 GPS and Chart Plotter and a Raymarine wheel auto-pilot.

With roomy accommodation and sleeping for up to 6, she also has a great sea going galley with a 2- burner stove, front opening ice box, sink and plenty of storage. The 4-seater dinette can be converted to a double berth when required. This is a great family yacht, well worthy of your inspection.
