Offered for private sale is this well-maintained Chamberlin Regis 38, a lightweight Australian-built performance cruising catamaran that is genuinely enjoyable to sail. She is fast, responsive, and confidence-inspiring, with solid construction (strip plank cedar hulls) and practical systems suited to real cruising.

The boat was professionally re-birthed in 2019/20, stripped back and rebuilt with longevity and self-sufficiency in mind. Work included full repaint in durable 2-Pac, new rigging, sails, windows, electronics, upholstery, and major system upgrades. The structure is strong and sound, reflecting the quality Chamberlin builds are known for. In 2022 a bowsprit/prodder was added for a furling Screecher which makes light wind sailing fast and easy.

She sails exceptionally well, with daggerboards for strong upwind performance and a good range of sail options to suit varying conditions (Fully Battened Main with 3 reef points, Inner Jib, Genoa, Screecher and an Asymmetrical Spinnaker in sock). Kick-up rudders and lifting dagger boards make shallow-water cruising easy, while retractable twin 25hp Yamaha high-thrust fuel-injected outboards provide reliable propulsion upto 9knots when needed.
