Description: Columbia 45 Sloop HUGE VOLUME YACHT, GREAT CONDITION
A GREAT VESSEL PRESENTING MANY OPTIONS. COLUMBIA yachts were designed by renowned US naval architect W Tripp and very strongly built by Columbia in their US factories.
The design offers huge volume below with the original classic timber fitout and the build is of enduring quality, providing options such as
- Offshore Cruising, a robust rig with decent sail area plus good sea keeping capability means fast safe and comfortable passages, the boat is very well powered by a Nanni 50hp diesel ( low hours) and will comfortably motor at 6 to 7 knots. The layout is also very user friendly for offshore cruising.
- Social Racing, the Columbia designs sail really well, this boat would be very competitive in mixed fleet social racing and the large cockpit provides plenty of room for the crew and guests
- Liveaboard, the layout is spacious and well appointed, stepping down into the U Shaped saloon area, this leads for'ard to the separate dinette with galley, including full sink, stove with oven and grill and fridge/freezer, then full for'ard bathroom and large front cabin with double V-berth. The aft cabin has a huge queen size bed, great storage plus its own full ensuite bathroom. Ths is literally like a small waterfront apartment.
On deck the boat is set-up for ease of handling, features a great cockpit with large dodger, dinghy davits, BBQ and swim ladder
The boat has had many recent upgrades, including a full hull repaint, it really gleams, the bottom is fully epoxied, engine with low hours, good electronics, the list goes on.
The boat is seriously for sale, please call John Radonic on 0459 322 862 or Tony Campbell on 0459 926 380 fo more information
