Description: Compass Yachts 29 WELL PRESENTED, CAPABLE CRUISING YACHT
One of Don Lee's most famous designs, the Compass 29 is renowned for their exceptional sea keeping abilities and offshore capability. Designed with an impressive 50% ballast ratio, many of these vessels have cruised extensively. With simple systems, and well laid out interiors, they have the ease of use to be an ideal first yacht, whilst having the performance to please even the most discerning sailor. This vessel is an excellent example of the design, and presents in good condition through out. Much of its early life was spent cruising in lakes Entrance. With its shallow draft, it was later based in St Helens, before spending the last 5 years with the current owner in Kettering exploring the stunning waters of Southern Tasmania. Well set equipped for cruising the vessel features A RAYMARINE AUTOPILOT, AQUAPRO INFLATABLE TENDER, 5HP YAMAHA OUTBOARD, FURLING HEADSAIL, AND A 16HP BETA DIESEL ENGINE WITH ONLY 600HRS ON THE CLOCK! Ready to be enjoyed, this vessel presents an excellent opportunity to enjoy cruising on a capable yacht for a minimal investment.

Stepping inside, the charming timber fitout is complimented with the modern white finishes and neat purple upholstery. To port is the dinette with seating for 4 in comfort. The in-line galley is opposite and features a 2 burner metho stove, stainless steel sink with fresh water, and plenty of storage. The accommodation is ideal for a family or cruising with friends with a double berth forward, the dinette can convert into a second double, and two single pilot berths. The package is complete with bathroom with electric toilet and vanity.

On deck, the cockpit is well set up for shorthanded sailing with the autopilot, furling headsail, and most lines lead back to the cockpit. This is also a great space to relax at your favourite anchorage under the shelter spray dodger. There is easy access around the vessel and extra security with the higher guardrails.

This vessel is powered by a well maintained and reliable 16HP Beta Diesel Engine which has low hours and is serviced annually. This provides easy cruising at 5 knots.

Well presented, and with the Compass pedigree, this vessel is sure to impress on inspection. For more information please call Jo Breen on or John Radonic on .
