Red Knot is an ocean going, quality built and well-presented Delphia 40 with a stunning 2pac burgundy hull. She boasts Delphia's later fitout seen on the 2010-13 models, launched in Australia 2011/2012 with many upgraded features including a 55 hp Volvo engine and bow thruster which makes reversing into a berth an easier task.
We have cruised and raced Red Knot over the past 10 years and have been living and working aboard since 2022. She is easy to sail single handed or two up with all the controls coming back to the cockpit including single point reefing for the mainsail and an electric winch to make the hardest tasks a breeze. Included in the sale are 3 spinakers all in excellent condition. With a 4kva diesel genset, ducted heater and airconditioning, solar and shade, Red Knot is a very comfortable home on the water.
One of the most valuable additions has been a Garmin Panoptix Front-Vu Transducer which allows you to see the contours of the ocean bed in front of Red Knot up to 8 times the depth of the water. For example if we are in 10 metres of water, we can see the contours 40 metres in front. This has been very handy when exploring the great barrier reef, allowing us to confidently anchor closer to shore.
A tender and outboard are included in the sale.

There is 2.05m of headroom in saloon giving Red Knot an airy spacious feeling.
Sleeps 4 in 2 cabins, plus main dining table lowers to form a double.
The forward master cabin has a large V berth with Ecosa mattress topper, hatch and fans, a double wardrobe, foot locker and ensuite.
The aft cabin has three portholes and 2 x Sirocco II fans plus wardrobe with led light. The oversize bed has a mattress topper and is perfect for sleeping when on long passages.
There are 2 electric toilets & hot/cold showers located on rear starboard and the forward port. Both toilets have 45 litre holding tanks.
A Webasto Diesel Heater Air top 5500 is ducted throughout the saloon and cabins.
A Cruisair 16,000 Btu Air Conditioner in the saloon to keep cool in the tropics.
A navigation station with lift up chart desk is located midhsips with the control panels and gauges in easy reach.
LED lighting and down lights are fitted throughout the boat, including the wardrobe while both cabins have reading lamps fitted.
The 'man shed' is located on port rear side and provides a huge storage space accessible from either the galley or the cockpit locker.
