Description: Doven 30 EXCELLENT VALUE COMFORTABLE CRUISER/TWILIGHT RACER
The Doven 30 designed by the legendary Walter Knoop is renown for its excellent sailing abilities and high volume internal space making them perfectly suited as a family cruiser and twilight racer. This vessel is a good example of the design and has been sailed very successfully by the current owners, taking out the 2019 twilight racing series in their division.
Inside, the vessel has an excellent layout for cruising with a stunning varnished dinette to port with seating for 4 in comfort. This can also fold down to create a large double berth when required. The primary accomodation is the double in the forepeak fitted with comfortable mattress and sheep's wool cover. The galley is to starboard and features a large icebox, camping stove, and excellent storage for longer passages. The package is complete with a private toilet.
On deck, the cockpit is deep and safe, ideal for junior sailors, and the vessel is well set up for shorthanded sailing with all lines lead back to the cabin top. The sail inventory is excellent for both racing and cruising, with a furler set up for easy sail handling.
The vessel is powered by a Diecon 30HP Diesel Engine providing easy cruising at 5 knots.
This vessel is an excellent opportunity to get out and sailing for a minimal investment this summer and enjoy our magnificent waterways. For more information please call Jo Breen on 0432031100 or John Radonic on 0459322862.
