Having completed 4 Sydney to Hobart Races, and 3 Launceston to Hobart Races, it has been successfully campaigned since its launch in 1983. Superbly constructed of King Billy Pine and Epoxy, the vessel has benefited from regular maintenance and upgrades throughout its life. These major upgrades include A NEW 2011 ALUMINIUM MAST AND STANDING RIGGING, 2017 FULL RE-FIBERGLASS OF THE DECKS, and 2023 PROFESSIONAL RE-SPRAY OF THE TOPSIDES. Currently owned by a local shipwright, the vessel has been further restored over the last 12 months, and presents in good condition through out. Inside, the vessel has an excellent layout for both racing or cruising, with accommodation for 6. Aft there are two quarter berths with pipecots above, as well as two single settee berths in spacious saloon. The functional. Galley is well equipped with 2 burner metho stove and with sink and tap, and a large eutectic fridge. Forwards is a private head area with toilet and excellent sail storage in the bow.

On deck, the cockpit is ergonomically designed for the race crew, however the vessel can also be easily sailed short handed, with all lines lead aft. The wide side decks allow easy and safe access around the vessel. The sail inventory is extensive and features a near new Mainsail.

This vessel is powered by a well maintained 13HP Yanmar Diesel engine which provides easy cruising at 5 to 6 knots.
