On deck, you can immediately feel Dorado's pedigree with a strong twin spreader mast head rig and sloping decks that flatten as the boat powers up and starts to heal. A deep cockpit provides a sense of security and most lines lead aft to eight Barlow winches throughout the cockpit. Dorado is well set up with a furling headsail and lazy jacks, making shorthanded sailing a breeze and rewarding for the helmsman. The fore deck is home to the Muir Atlantic windlass as well as the chain plate for the removable inner forestay.
Dorado is powered by the reliable and economical Beta Marine 3-cylinder 30HP diesel engine. Installed new in 2014 it presents in excellent condition with only 278 hours on the clock! With excellent access for hassle free servicing, it provides easy cruising at 5 to 6 knots.
