The Easy 11.6 Zed is a thoughtfully designed cruising catamaran, combining simplicity, spacious interiors, and easy to handle sailing. Ideal for sailors seeking a capable coastal or off grid cruiser, she features clever design, efficient systems, and a layout built for comfort and practicality.

Her lightweight construction, shallow draft, and balanced sail plan make sailing enjoyable and responsive, while the protected cockpit with the custom extended hardtop ensures confident short handed or single handed operation. Quality Anderson winches and well organised deck hardware keep sail handling smooth and manageable in a wide range of conditions.

The cockpit is designed with practicality and visibility in mind, with sliding helm windows delivering excellent sightlines and airflow, complemented by an opening hatch above the steering station that improves ventilation and connection to the sail plan.

A high quality electronics package from Raymarine supports safe and confident navigation, while hinged bench seating provides easy and convenient access to the electric trim outboards. Auxiliary power is supplied by twin Yamaha 9.9hp high-thrust outboards (new in 2023 with just 50 hours), offering quiet, reliable performance for manoeuvring, harbour approaches, and economical motoring when required.

Stepping aboard, the secure cockpit flows seamlessly into the saloon through wide openings, creating a bright and inviting indoor-outdoor living space. The extended 2 stage hardtop offers excellent protection from the elements with drop down covers. A spacious U-shaped lounge is complemented by large forward-opening hatches, flooding the interior with natural light and ventilation while maintaining excellent visibility underway.

Accommodation is intelligently arranged for comfortable cruising. The starboard hull offers a generous east/west queen berth forward, a midships navigation station, and a practical aft bathroom with a wall-mounted washer/dryer. The port hull features a full length benchtop galley with induction cooktops, ample prep space, and storage, alongside a comfortable north/south double berth for guests or crew.

Prepared for long-distance, off-grid cruising, Zed has significant upgrades including a 1200Ah lithium battery bank, Victron 3000W inverter, 1320W of solar on the hardtop, Rainman 180L/H watermaker along with a portable Honda genset-- offering impressive energy storage and extended independence away from marinas.
