Looking for an affordable Catamaran that has everything you need for adventure and cruising? We are the second owners of Bushfire Moon, built in Victoria and launched in 2018. She is a great example of the versatile Peter Snell-designed Easy Sarah sailing catamaran and is equipped to take her owner on many unforgettable cruising adventures.

This comfortable 43-foot, two-cabin catamaran features a comprehensive inventory to ensure comfortable and safe sailing. Her spacious and protected cockpit includes a moveable helm chair, rod holders, generous scoops ideal for diving and snorkelling (or sitting dangling your feet off the stern in the wake), and plenty more for the cruising enthusiast.

We have spent two years with Bushfire Moon taking our time to sail 12 months to sail her from the Gold Coast in 2023, Christmas in the Whitsundays and then a leisurely trip back home to Darwin. We even dropped in on Peter and Anne Snell, and met other Easy owners on the way. Bushfire Moon handled the trip well, including the trip around Cape York and the Gulf of Carpentaria, and can be handled comfortably by two, not-so-young, sailing enthusiasts. She is a comfortable vessel, and suitable for long voyages and remote locations with a water maker and air-conditioning.

Bushfire Moon was fully surveyed in 2023 and has been comprehensively insured ever since; she represents an excellent opportunity to step aboard a proven, quality catamaran and start your next sailing adventure.
