Rumbeat has been cruised and raced out of Hobart for the past 15 years, after being purchased from Sandingham Yacht Club, Melbourne. She is a very competitive offshore racer as well as club/harbour racing, having competed in many Launceston to Hobart and Melbourne to Hobart races.
This yacht has a large inventory as she was upgraded to meet Cat 2 for the 2022 Melbourne to Hobart race. She was weighed and measured in 2022 and is ready to race with certified measurement certificates.
She is also a comfortable cruising yacht with a 29HP Nanni engine, enclosed bathroom, lazy jacks, electric anchor winch and auto helm. Fully upgraded instruments - colour display readouts x 2 new, Raymarine Axiom 9 inch chartplotter and new Raymarine transponder receiver AIS. New wheel pilot fitted drive ring. Boat has extremly low rating certificate on AMS, IRC and ORC. Rumbeat has won numerous twilight race pennants and harbour race pennant under handicap systems including offshore series and placed in the Bruny offshore race and Lauceston to Hobart She has also competed in Sydney to Hobarts, Lord Howe race, Sydney to Southport race, Melbourne to Stanley etc.
