Farr 30 - Refit in 2025

Fresh off a major 6 month refit, Bandit is one of the best condition Farr 30s available in Australia!

Fast, fun and affordable, Farr 30s have a cult following for a reason. Regarded as one of the best small race yachts ever designed, Bandit will not disappoint.

We will be racing this summer season out of Rushcutters, so come down, take a look and have a chat if you're interested. Unfortunately time commitments next year mean we will have less time to spend on the water.

Refit work by JR Marine & Philips Sails;

- Topsides resprayed in 2pac gray
- Ring frames tabbed to hull
- All through hulls removed and glassed
- New standing rigging
- Hull / Deck seam sealed
- Rudder dropped and serviced
- Plus small jobs

If you know boats, you'll understand how much has been spent and the longevity this gives the boat. I will provide receipts only to serious buyers.

Sails
- 3 Mainsails: 1x 2025 unused carbon membrane, 1x 2016 Ian Short carbon laminate, 1x delivery Dacron
- J1 (carbon laminate, good), J2 (carbon laminate, very good), J3 (carbon laminate, fair), J4 (delivery Dacron), JT (good)
- S2 (new 2025), A2 (new 2024), A4 (very good condition. Plus spare A2 and fractional A3.

Other:
- New carbon spinnaker pole 2025
- Harken self tailing primaries
- Running rigging new last 3yrs. All lines are dyneema or Vectran. Halyards & kite sheets/braces are chafe protected and tapered. By Wet Tech Rigging.
