Farr 37

One of the first Cavalier 37 built she has completed a number of Hobart's and has been raced short handed for the past six years by her current owner. 'Bad Latitude' has had a number of previous names including 'Demo' (she had a red hull then), 'Out Of Sight Out Of Mind', 'Leading Edge' and Teddybear's Picnic' and has spent her life either in Melbourne, Hobart or the East Coast of Australia. Always a formidable competitor, and even now, being sailed short handed, she leads the Manly Combined Clubs Point Score Series.
Her current owner received her with a newly installed electric engine powered by her lithium battery bank, and has been delighted with it's performance. She comes with good sail wardrobe, eight year old rigging and custom bow sprit to fly her asymmetrical spinnaker.
Whilst her deck, cockpit and hull present in delightful condition her interior can best be described as functionally spartan. There's plenty of space to carry her crew and equipment when racing, but not much luxury and she clearly reflects her racing history with all the inevitable wear and tear.
