Description: Farr 40 IOR KEVLAR PERFORMANCE CRUISER/RACER
Designed by the legendary Bruce Farr, and built out of Kevlar and Divinycell for exceptional strength, Nadia IV is a great example of the Farr 40 One Tonne designs. This vessel is a veteran of 11 Sydney to Hobart Races, won both line honours and handicap in the Sydney to Noumea race, and has continued to be enjoyed for local cruising and racing. The vessel also worked for many years as the training vessel for Teki Dalton's Adventure Sailing School, where it proved to be both exciting and easily managed by new crews. With such an impressive pedigree, this vessel now presents an excellent opportunity to either bring her back into her racing glory, or simply enjoy cruising on a safe, capable, and fun yacht. With a freshly painted deck and varnish work, and comfortable interior, this vessel offers excellent versatility for any level of sailing. Whether you want to socially race in twilights, round the cans, or make the most of the 8 berths on board sailing with friends and family, this vessel can do it all in style!

Stepping inside, this vessel has far more creature comforts than the modern race yacht! Its interior is a charming mix of timber and white finishes, giving a warm and traditional feel. The comfortable saloon has two generous settees that double as single berths, complete with lee cloths. There are also two double berths aft, and two single pipe cots. The galley is to starboard and features a two burner metho stove, 12V fridge, stainless steel sink and freshwater. Forward is an excellent area for sail storage, with the toilet discreetly behind the bulkhead. The nav station completes the package is is centrally located behind the companionway stairs.

On deck, the generous cockpit is well laid out for either cruising or racing. There are quality self tailing winches throughout and all lines are lead back to the cabin top for easy sail handling. There is excellent access around the wide side decks, and an anchor winch on the bow, before for days cruising with friends and family.

This vessel is powered by a 30HP Yanmar Diesel Engine. This has had a Cylinder Head overhaul completed by Spectrum Engineering approx 20hrs ago and is in good condition. This provides easy cruising at 5 to 6 knots, and there is excellent access for easy servicing.

With its strength, capability, and versatility, this is a vessel that offers many options. Priced to sell, an inspection is highly recommended. For more information please call Jo Breen on 0432031100 or John Radonic on 0459322862.
