Farr MRX IRC Cruiser Racer Optimised

Stimulus Package was built in 1990 by McDell Marine NZ as the 'spare' boat for the World Match Racing Championships and kept in a shed as a bare shell until 2011 where it was purchased and shipped to Australia and finished to a highly optimised configuration for IRC rating to take full advantage of 21 years of age allowance. A new Rig was built by NZ Rigging and full deck layout optimised to utlise non overlapping jibs with inhaulers. Project managed by Paul Eldrid, Stimulus Package was rigged with Lewmark deck hardware, Nexus Marine Instruments, has a Bukh DV24 SME Sail Drive and full inventory of sails and was launched for the first time in December 2012. Draft is 1.78m and weight is 3,975kg. Easy to sail and a killer rating continues to fill up the trophy cabinet for this great boat which is also very easily sailed socially and 2-handed. Regretful sale by the current owner.
