This fully refitted steel bluewater cruising vessel is turn key and ready for her next adventure. 'Tucan' underwent a comprehensive restoration in Brisbane with the intention to circumnavigate Australia. The vessel presents like new and has been well maintained over the last 3 years of cruising.
The exterior hull and decks were sandblasted back to bare steel and coated with 2 pack epoxy systems. The hull was completely faired and professionally resprayed in 2022. Below the waterline, her bilges are dry, rust-free, and freshly re-coated with two-pack epoxy coatings.
Inside, Tucan features a beautifully restored teak veneer interior, fully re-varnished and complemented by new foam and upholstery throughout. The result is a warm, inviting, and meticulously finished living space.

Accommodation
Tucan features a single V-berth, an aft cabin, a wet head with seperate toilet head, a galley, a dedicated chart table, and a spacious saloon. The teak-veneer interior was fully stripped, sanded, and re-varnished in 2023, giving it a fresh, warm finish. A new white satin roof lining was installed in 2022, along with closed-cell foam insulation lining the hull and decks above the waterline. All upholstery--including new foam and tapestry-style fabric--was replaced in 2023.

9oz Dacron 130% genoa w sumbrella UV strip and 9oz Dacron fully battened main with 3 reefs and sumbrella lazy bag. Made by UK Sails, Brisbane (2022). Laminated blade inner forestay jib (in good condition) and storm sail (snap hooks need replacing).
Mast / Rigging
All standing rigging replaced with new oversized HAMMAR stainless wire and new double spreaders fabricated in 2021. Mast and boom sandblasted and painted with 2 pack epoxy systems in 2021. All running rigging replaced 2021. Harken roller furler. All new electrical wiring, antennas and navigation (tri light) & deck light 2022. New stainless steel goose neck replaced in 2024, new reefing blocks replaced in 2025.
