Malua was commissioned in 1981 by the Albert's a renowned sailing family with interests in the music industry. She's in good condition and presents well. She's a well maintained yacht and sailed regularly on Pittwater for the last 14 years The M26 format makes her a comfortable yacht for her size below deck with a separate head. Sink and metho stove plus a forward v berth and two quarter berths and powered by a Yanmar 8 inboard diesel which has had numerous upgrades. The windows have recently been replaced and the standing rigging renewed by Joe Walsh in 2021. The furling genoa replaced in 2019, the main in 2016, additional heavy weather sails are included. With a full keel and fractional rig making her a strong performer in medium to strong conditions. Malua has been moored in a private marina and is hosed down with fresh water after every sail.
