Sail Inventory
2 x Genoa one 3 years old, staysail with optional self tacking boom, Main and Mizzen plus hanked on light weight No 1. Sale covers in very good condition. Sails good to excellent condition.
Mast / Rigging
Al, loy masts and spars, single spreaders plus jumpers. Mainmast wire (all 1x19 ss) and fitted with staylock fittings for dockside replacement. New fulers on forestay and inner forestay (Reefit). All Halyards are Dyneema SK78, spliced. All running rigging in very good condition.
Deck Gear
Primarily Lewmar, 2 x primary with 2 each port and starboard secondaries in cockpit. Main sheet winch, three winches at mainmast for mainsail and reefs x3, single whinch on Mizzen. Rail mounted Genoa Car tracks, clutches on mast. Spinaker pole mounted on rail on front of mainmast. Flemming Auxillary rudder wind vane steering at transom with additional Raymarine autohelm tiller pilot for second auto-helm. PSS dripless shaft seals on both prop shaft and rudder post.
Remarks
Gadfly is a very comfortable sea boat and well proven local and dsitance cruising vessel. It has had refurbishment on;- chainplates replaced, all standing rigging replaced, bulk of electrical wiring replaced, engine rebuilt 2012 (receipt avaialble) transmission rebuilt, anchor whinch rebuilt, new stern tube and shaft bearings, new engine bed and mounts, new mast steps SS, new main mast compression post and keel step, new LED lighting, new plumbing, new hot water system, 2024, new toilet (large) and holding tank 2033, refurbished refrigeration system, entire fuel delivery system replaced to AMSA commercial standard, second stainless full tank fitted, masts unstepped and refurbished, New chain cable steering replaced and spare carried both vhf aerials replaced. New Force 10 3 burner stove and micro wave oven. Stainless steel hinged seating fitted in cockpit. She comes with a broad inventory of engine spares, water pumps, etc. She carries a full battened boom awning and full covers for the cockpit. Rail hung bar b que and fishing pole moounts. Gadfly is fiully equipped, proven blue water boat with little to spend to take anywher your heart desires.
