A wonderful example of a Formosa CT41 blue water cruising yacht, 'ITS THE SERENITY' has been the subject of a full refit starting in 2020 but with most work done 2023/2024. Only selling as the owner is moving overseas and buying a larger boat.
New engine beds, new Yanmar 60hp diesel, new shaft and couplings, new pumps, new electronics, new sails and canvas works, new canopy with 1120w of solar, complete battery charging/monitoring system, solar powered fans in main cabin, new kitchen... The list goes on.
The Formosa 41 has so much character with its clipper looks and teak finishes and as a heavy displacement, full keel yacht, is perfect for distance voyaging. Built for comfort and small crew handling rather than speed, it is the perfect ocean-going home for a couple or small family. The 6'4" plus headroom in the galley/main cabin and large rectangular portlights give a very light and airy feel to the interior.
These are wonderful sturdy yachts well suited for these southern waters but also very much at home amongst the islands of SE Asia.
Antifouled in March 2025 at the time of her last out-of-water survey.
